Community Groups are a vital part of Blount Community Church. With the growth BCC has experienced, it is no longer possible to develop close relationship or deepen community when meeting with the church family on Sunday morning. The purpose of Sunday morning gatherings are for lots of people to worship together, be encouraged and challenged through Bible teaching, serve our children, and see other Christ-followers you may not have seen all week. Sunday mornings are a blast but they cannot do what a community group will do. Community groups are small groups of people that meet weekly in someone's home for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. These are for adults of all ages, stages of life, and spiritual maturity. The purpose is to develop genuine relationship with others that are founded on God. BCC’s Community Groups generally run on a semester schedule and break the summer months of June and July. The new semester begins in August and January of each year when new groups are formed, existing group resume, and new members are added.
